This seems like an extension of the Indirect Method from Mystery. If you read The Game, when Style talks about the time he becomes a MPUA he approaches two HB10s in the club after a number of people have already tried and failed, he approaches them indirectly through talking to a guy nearby.

My point is that although Mystery talks about the 3 second rule, he (and Style) don't always use it either.

This video really makes a lot of sense I don’t think I have seen this explained before in such a simple and easy to understand manner.
So when we enter a club or bar we should try and chat with the first people we see or should we talk with the less attractive girls first?

If you SERIOUSLY don't know what an HB or the three second rule is...

Then you could possibly become the best pick up artist ever.

Never, ever learn what they are.

@Jonathan

That would be because those terms has been in the PU-community for ages.

HB is short for Hot Babe. Some guys may put the numbers 1-10 behind (ex. HB10) to state their rating of the HB. According to my sources, this number usually won't go lower than 4-5. Some may also put a nickname behind it (ex. HBredhead, HBlatina) probably to describe her further. According to The Game (book by Neil Strauss), origin: Aardvark

The 3-second rule is simply a tool for you to get into sets of people quickly when entering the club. You must open a set within 3 seconds from spotting to opening. This way you have no time to get approach anxiety (AA) or consider any other posibilities that you shouldn't open. Also, not hesitating to open instead of staring at her for a longer period prevents her from thinking of you as a creepy dude. Origin: Mystery

This is what I understand of the terms so far. Any more?

Feel free to correct me.

In this video you talk about HB's and 3 second rule etc. as though you've spoken about them before on the site. Ive looked through your other videos and can't find an explanation, what am i missing?
